Overview
Children should not come into contact with this collar. Wrap the collar in paper or plastic if it is removed briefly. Toss it in the regular household garbage to discard. The collar and container should never be reused. Unused collars should be stored in their original packaging, out of reach of children. If you take this collar off for a while, be cautious not to leave it on any surface, even wood. After you've placed the collar to the cat, leave it in place. If the cat gets wet, this collar will not need to be replaced. Ways to minimize flea infestations: Use only EPA-registered products and adhere to all label directions. As needed, apply effective and safe items to your pet's outside surroundings. Treat your pet's interior environment with safe and effective treatments, giving specific attention to resting spots. Treat your pet with the proper products. Directions for Use: 1) Place a collar around the cat's neck. Tighten the buckle by threading the flat end through the hole. Allow the collar clasp to cover a minimum of two ridges. The chance of buckle failure and/or neck discomfort is lessened since the buckle is molded into the collar. The collar should be snug enough to keep the cat's leg or lower jaw from becoming stuck inside, but loose enough to spin around the cat's neck. 2) Leave 1 to 2 inches extra on the collar for future adjustments. Remove any surplus and discard it. 3) Check kittens on a regular basis and make any required modifications, especially if they are developing rapidly. 4) Replace after 6 months or as needed for tick prevention. After 8 months, the collar should be updated to avoid fleas. It might possibly be changed sooner if necessary. Simply compress the clasp between your thumb and finger and pull hard to release the collar.
