Albon is an antibiotic that may be used to treat infections in both dogs and cats. It is commonly used in dogs and cats to treat infections of the respiratory, genitourinary, enteric, and soft tissue systems. In dogs, tonsillitis, cystitis, pustular dermatitis, bacterial enteritis, pharyngitis, nephritis, anal gland infections, canine salmonellosis, bronchitis, metritis, abscesses, bacterial enteritis, pneumonia, pyometra, and coccidiosis wound infections are among the conditions that this medicine can treat.

This formula is effective against a variety of coccidial infections and bacterial infections.
How does Albon Tablet work?
This antibiotic prevents bacteria from reproducing. This product blocks critical folic acid production when administered to bacteria or coccidia. Bacteria and coccidia cannot survive if they are unable to synthesize folic acid. Microorganism death is the outcome of this process, which resolves the infection.

What are the side effects of Albon Tablet?
If you observe any symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate veterinary help. Swelling of the face, hives, itching, abrupt onset diarrhea, vomiting, shock, convulsions, and coma are all symptoms. Other responses are possible. Any unpleasant or unexpected adverse effects should be discussed with your veterinarian. Keratoconjunctivitis, dry eye, anemia, fever, inappetence, vomiting, diarrhea, joint inflammation, kidney damage, and skin rash are all possible side effects. If your pet has any of these responses, stop using this product. When your pet is on this medication, make sure he or she has ongoing access to water. Sulfa crystals may form in the urine of your pet.
What special precautions are there?
If the animal has a sulfa medication allergy, don't use this product. Do not give if the animal is pregnant or nursing. If the animal has kidney or liver illness, don't give it this medication. Before administering any antacids, wait 2 hours. Overdose symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and hyperexcitability. Always make sure the animal has plenty of water to drink. Use phenylbutazone, methotrexate, probenecid, warfarin, salicylates, phenytoin, and MAOIs with extreme caution when administering this product. Keep out of the reach of children.
