What special precautions are there?
If your pet's diarrhea is bloody or runny, call your doctor. This drug might cause diarrhea as an adverse effect. When taken in combination with other veterinarian-prescribed drugs, it is both effective and safe. Before using, tell your veterinarian about any supplements or drugs your pet is taking. If your pet is allergic to Clintabs or lincomycin, don't administer this medication. Keep out of the reach of children.

If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.

In cats and dogs, many antibiotics cause nausea and diarrhea. Call your veterinarian if the diarrhea is runny or contains blood.
Overview
25 mg tablets should be administered at a rate of 1 tablet per 10 pounds of body weight every 12 hours. 75 mg tablets should be administered at a rate of 1 tablet per 30 pounds of body weight every 12 hours. 150 mg tablets should be administered at a rate of 1 tablet per 60 pounds of body weight every 12 hours. Dosages are based upon the pet's body weight and the size (mg) of the tablet(s). Follow your veterinarian's directions and advice closely.
