Dexamethasone is used to treat severe allergies, arthritis, and inflammatory skin disorders. This item belongs to the corticosteroid category.

Why use Dexamethasone Injection?
This anti-inflammatory medicine can be used to treat rheumatic, allergy, and dermatologic conditions. When addressing emergent hormonal response disorders, it can also be administered for the purpose of supportive therapy.
How does Dexamethasone Injection work?
The musculoskeletal system is targeted by this anti-inflammatory medication. It can also be used to treat bursitis, osselets, tendonitis, myositis, and sprains, as well as other acute musculoskeletal disorders. It may help alleviate tiredness, heat exhaustion, influenza, laminitis, and retained placenta as a supportive therapy. It's uncommon to notice a reaction to the treatment if any of these disorders, joints, or associated structures have bony abnormalities.

What are the side effects of Dexamethasone Injection?
Unless administering for an emergency purpose, do not give to animals with chronic nephritis or Cushing's syndrome (hypercortisolism). This product is relatively contraindicated for use in animals with congestive heart failure, diabetes, or osteoporosis. Do not administer during a viral infection's viremic stage. Corticosteroids are associated with laminitis development in horses.
What special precautions are there?
Always keep an eye on an animal while taking this medication. Symptoms of an overdose usually disappear within 24 hours. Transient drowsiness or lethargy may occur in the event of an overdose. Keep out of reach of animals and children.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Dexamethasone Injection?
Store between 36°(2°C) -86°F (30°C).
