What are the side effects of Dicloxacillin Sodium Capsule?
Generally, penicillin-related side effects are low-risk and non-serious. However, they include: Gut flora imbalance and resulting colon superinfection and/or diarrhea Gastrointestinal effects, such as diarrhea, vomiting, and anorexia Hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, anemia, seizures, fever, and rash
What special precautions are there?
This medication is not effective against viral illnesses, such as the common cold. Only use this medicine if your pet has a bacterial illness. Bacterial resistance might make treating illnesses more challenging in the future. Bacterial resistance can be caused by skipping or failing to complete a full course of treatment. Always follow the treatment plan to the letter. Keep out of reach of animals and children.
