How does EpiKlean Ear Cleanser work?
Salicylic acid, which is present at 0.05% in EpiKlean, has keratolytic, keratoplastic, antimicrobial, and antipruritic effects. Propylene glycol, which makes up roughly 3% of the whole, is an organic alcohol possessing keratolytic and antibacterial properties. Specially denatured (SD) #40 alcohol is included, which has antimicrobial and drying properties. These components work together to provide a wide range of advantages.

What special precautions are there?
Not to be used on skin that has been severely inflamed. Withdraw usage and visit your veterinarian if your skin gets inflamed or if an existing irritation worsens. Make sure you don't look each other in the eyes. If your pet has a ruptured tympanic membrane (eardrum), don't use this product. Use only topically. Hands should be thoroughly washed after handling. Keep out of reach of animals and children.

If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store EpiKlean Ear Cleanser?
Keep at room temperature between 68-77° F
Overview
1) Give it a good shake. 2) Place into the ear canal. 3) Massage the base of the ear gently but firmly. 4) Using a cotton ball, wipe away any excess product. 5) Repeat as required or as directed by your veterinarian. 6) Close the cap tightly. Use one to three times each week, and before every otitis externa therapy.
