What special precautions are there?
Animals receiving any other anti-inflammatory treatment, such as corticosteroids or NSAIDS, should be closely monitored or not treated with this medication. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not give to horses that will be eaten by humans. Use with caution in animals with a history of blood dyscrasia or severe cardiac, renal, or hepatic disease. Only for equine use.

How can I store Equizone Phenylbutazone Powder?
Store product between the temperatures of 15°-30°C (59°-86°F)
For the first 48 hours of therapy, use the high dose, then gradually lower to maintenance dosing. For every 500 pounds of body weight, use 1 to 2 level scoops. Do not provide more than 4 scoops per animal each day. Mix well with a small amount of appetizing meal before administering. Use the provided 18 mL scoop to measure.
