Why use Frontline Gold for Cats and Kittens?
Frontline Gold is an effective lice, tick, and flea medication for cats and kittens. This treatment prevents reinfection for 30 days by working at all phases of the parasite's life cycle. The waterproof, triple-action formula delivers quick results.
How does Frontline Gold for Cats and Kittens work?
Fipronil, (S)-Methoprene, and Nylar  (pyriproxyfen)are the three main constituents in this composition. At the egg and larval stages, methoprene and Nylar are employed to inhibit growth. Fipronil is a long-acting insecticide that kills adult mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and lice. Fipronil enters the hair follicles when it comes into touch with the skin and releases slowly over a 30-day period.

Overview
To kill mosquitoes, chewing lice, Lyme disease-carrying deer ticks, lone star ticks, American dog ticks, brown dog ticks in all life stages, and fleas, apply to kittens ages 8 weeks and up or cats as follows: 1) Take one of the applicator tubes out of the packaging and hold it upright, away from your face. 2) Twist the dispensing tip 1/2 turn clockwise while pushing down to break the tube seal. The dispensing tip should not be removed. 3) Place the dispensing tip between the shoulder blades of the cat's back. Part the cat's hair using the dispensing tip of the tube so that the product may be administered at skin level. Squeeze the applicator and apply the entire contents to the animal's skin in one location. After the treatment has been administered, keep the treated cat apart from other pets for 24 hours. 4) Repeat monthly.
