How does Metoclopramide Tablet work?
This medication promotes upper gastrointestinal tract movement after it enters the system. It improves stomach movement and contractions without stimulating gastric, biliary, or pancreatic secretions. Although not all details of how this medicine works are known, it is widely assumed that it doesn't require intact vagal innervation and that it operates by sensitizing tissue to cholinergic activity.
