What are the side effects of Polyflex 25g Active Ampicillin?
Allergic reactions to Polyflex are possible. If you observe this type of reaction, discontinue use and use antihistamines, pressor amines, and/or corticosteroids to treat the cow.
What special precautions are there?
If your animals have a history of being allergic to cephalosporins, penicillins, or similar medications, do not use this product. Always use the appropriate meat and milk withdrawal periods. Do not use this product for more than one week at a time. Generally, animals only need 3 days of treatment to be fully healthy. To ensure that the animal is fully healthy, use the product for 2-3 days after the symptoms disappear. Do not slaughter animals for human consumption while on this medication. Wait 6 days after using the product before slaughtering an animal for human consumption. Do not drink or use milk while on this medication. Wait 48 hours or 4 milkings before using the milk Keep out of reach of children
