If you see any following symptoms of an allergic reaction (unconsciousness, cold limbs, pale gums, seizures, shock, quick onset of diarrhea, itching, hives, or facial swelling), seek immediate veterinary care. Infections after intramuscular injection are possible and might be fatal. Consult your veterinarian if your horse has a fever, edema, or soreness. Discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if you notice any signs of bleeding, bruising, changes in the color or smell of the urine, increased urination, increased thirst (or other symptoms of a kidney problem), constipation, bloody stools, tarry stools, dark stools, diarrhea, inappetence, or stomach ulcers.
What special precautions are there?
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. This product's tocolytic activity may cause parturition to be delayed. The repercussions of impending parturition are unknown. While using NSAIDs, parturition and the estrous cycle are impacted. Do not use this product in breeding bulls since its safety is questionable. If the horse is receiving additional treatments, monitor for medication responses. Not proven safe for use in pregnant animals. If the animal is taking an NSAID or corticosteroid, take caution or avoid using this product. Toxicity to the kidneys or the gastrointestinal tract can develop in sick animals. Before using, see a veterinarian if the animal is on diuretics, dehydrated, or has renal, cardiovascular, or hepatic impairment. Keep out of the reach of children.

Dosing should be based upon the condition requiring treatment. For the sake of rapid relief, intravenous injection is recommended. To treat equine colic-related pain, inject a dose of 0.5 mg per pound of weight. To treat musculoskeletal disorders, administer 0.5 mg per pound of body weight daily. Use on an as-needed basis.
