What special precautions are there?
Keep out of children's reach. Irritation of the skin is possible. Avoid skin and clothing contact. During usage, put on a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, socks, chemical-resistant shoes, and gloves. In certain people, frequent or prolonged skin contact might cause an allergic response. Make sure you don't look each other in the eyes. The eyes may be irritated to a moderate degree. Before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco, thoroughly wash your hands with water and soap after each usage. Spray vapor or mist should not be inhaled. When inhaled, it is harmful. Before reusing infected clothes, remove it and wash it. Fish and other aquatic species are extremely harmful to this substance. Never use in a surface water region, straight into water, or in an intertidal zone below the mean high water level. When applying to any location near a body of water, use caution. Never use in weather that encourages drift away from the treatment area. Never pollute water while disposing of wash water or cleaning equipment. Allow no product to drift to or be applied directly to crops or weeds that have active foraging bees. Bees exposed to residues or direct treatment are extremely hazardous. Apply 12 to 16 ounces down the back, 1 to 4 ounces to the face, or 1/2 ounce in each ear to use as a low-pressure spray. Add 2 ounces with every gallon of water to use as a spot treatment. Milking dairy cows must only be sprayed after they have finished milking. Another treatment for lice or mites is recommended 2 to 3 weeks later. Apply a generous amount of spray to the entire animal. Dilute 0.64 ounces per gallon of water to treat a typical infestation (199 parts water to 1 part concentrate). In 5 gallons of oil, combine 2 ounces (or 1 quart with 20 gallons of oil to use as a back rubber). Dilute 1.28 ounces of solution per gallon of water to treat a severe infestation (99 parts water to 1 part concentrate). This concentrated product may generate up to 200 gallons of spray from a single quart.
