What special precautions are there?
Hands should always be washed before using Tobramycin. Contamination and subsequent infection are possible if the applicator tip comes into contact with any surface or the afflicted region. The dropper should never be rinsed. After each use, the dropper cap should be changed. Never give this drug or any of its ingredients to an animal who has had a previous hypersensitive reaction to it.

Temperatures should be kept between 35 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (2 and 25 degrees Celsius).
Gradually discontinue treatment rather than stopping suddenly. For the treatment of severe infections, use 2 drops in the affected eye(s) hourly. For the treatment of mild to moderate disease, use 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4 hours.
