This product can be hazardous to domestic animals and humans. Do not allow clothing or skin contact. Thoroughly wash your hands using soap and water after use and before using the bathroom, using tobacco, chewing gum, drinking, or eating. Frequently reported or prolonged contact with the skin can lead to an allergic reaction in certain animals.
What special precautions are there?
Keep out of reach of children and animals. This product is pressurized. Using this product in any other way not intended is a violation of federal law. Do not use this product near heat or an open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate the container. If you do, the product might explode. After using the product, wash your hands with soap and water. Do this before you eat, drink, smoke, or use the bathroom. Some people might have a skin reaction if they come in contact with the product often. You should never apply this product near pets, children, or adults. You should also never apply it more than once a day. Do not allow the product to enter a drain after or during application.Application is prohibited directly into drains or sewers, or to any area such as a gutter where drainage to an aquatic habitat, body of water, storm drain, or sewer might occur. Not for broadcast use on indoor residential surfaces. Cover or remove food preparation surfaces, food processing equipment, utensils, and dishes, or wash them prior to use. Overview
To use in a kennel, garage, or home: Identify every treatment area, particularly those where pets frequent (like around and in pet resting and sleeping areas). These are the most common area for ticks, fleas, and flea eggs to hide out. Prior to treatment, perform an application test to wood surface, delicate fabrics, light-colored fabrics, drapery, or upholstery in an inconspicuous area. Prepare the treatment area. When using in a garage, remove all motor vehicles. For optimal results in treating carpets and surfaces, thoroughly vacuum prior to spraying and throw the vacuum bag away in an outdoor garbage receptacle. This product can also be used to treat infested areas within motor vehicles. Apply the treatment. For tick and flea infestations, one can will treat up to 2,000 square feet. Hold the container upside down 2' to 3' away from the surface. Point the actuator toward the surface and depress the button. Apply only as a spot treatment to surface of pet resting areas, drapes, carpets, rugs, and furniture, dampening such articles lightly. If needed, reapply 14 days later. Only proper application to the listed areas will result in thorough elimination of ticks and fleas. Never apply directly to an animal or pet. Leave the room after treatment, ventilating the area until every surface has dried prior to re-entry. For optimal results, use a registered topical tick and flea control product to treat pets. One great option is Vet Kem Flea, Tick And Bot Spray. Such products will eliminate existing ticks and fleas on the pet. To kill cockroaches, spray into common hiding areas, such as around plumbing and drains, along floors and baseboards, behind cabinets and sinks, and in crevices and cracks. Hit the insects with the spray whenever possible. To kill ants, spray points of entry, nests, and trails, spraying the ants whenever possible. Shake thoroughly prior to every use. For application at the maximum rate, spray for approximately 25 seconds to cover an area measuring 10 feet by 20 feet.
