This product poses hazards to domestic animals and humans. It should only be used when the treatment area is free of pets and humans.
What special precautions are there?
Keep out of reach of children. It is harmful if you breathe it, swallow it, or get it on your skin. If this happens, flush your eyes or skin with water. Do not let this product come in contact with your food. Make sure that no one is in the room when you use the fogger. Animals near the treated area should be washed with soap and water. Do not contaminate any food preparation areas, food, or foodstuffs with this product. It is illegal to use this product in any way other than what is stated on the label. Once you have activated the fogger, leave the house or room immediately. If you are exposed to the wet surface, wash your fur using soap and water. This product is hazardous to domestic animals and humans. Make sure that no pets or humans are in the treatment area before use.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Vet-Kem Fogger, 3 x 3 oz cans?
Keep away from open flames and extreme heat. Store in a dry and cool place.
Overview
Shake thoroughly prior to use. Cover or remove any exposed food. Cover any food processing utensils or surfaces in the home, or wash prior to reuse. Thoroughly vacuum prior to fogging. Ensure unobstructed fogger mist flow bo opening inside cabinets and doors. Cover or remove any exposed food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, dishes, and food. Remove birds and pets and cover (and turn off) or remove aquariums. Turn off any sources of ignition, including running electrical appliances that cycle on and off (such as thermostats, refrigerators, etc.), open flames of any kind, or pilot lights. Shut off gas valves. Contact your gas management or utility company for assistance in turning off your pilot light. Use 1 container for every 6,000 square feet of area (for example, a room measuring 30' X 25' with an 8' ceiling). Never use more than 1 fogger in each room. Never use in small enclosed areas like cabinets, closets, or under tables or counters. Never use in a room 5' X 5' or smaller. Alternatively, allow the fog to enter from a treated room. Prior to fogging the garage, remove any motor vehicles. Place the fogger on a table or stand covered with newspaper in the middle of the room to be fogged. Spread newspaper on the floor for many feet around the release area. Prior to activation, tilt the can away from your own face. The container sprays directly upward. Firmly press down on the edge of the actuator tab until it has locked into place. After activation, immediately leave the house or room. The treated area should be kept closed for a minimum of 2 hours. Thereafter, open all windows and doors and allow for a minimum of 1 hour of airing out prior to re-entry. For optimal results, use a Vet-Kem premise product to spot treat under obstructed areas, furniture, or beds, where the fogger mist is unlikely to penetrate.
