What special precautions are there?
Adverse effects are uncommon. If your pet experiences any side effects, stop taking Vetropolycin. Keep out of the reach of children. Allow no tissue to come into touch with the applicator tip. When applying, take care not to contaminate the applicator tip. The treatment and diagnosis should be re-evaluated if the infection does not respond to this drug after 2 to 3 days. Long-term treatment can cause non-susceptible organisms, such as fungi, to overgrow. Appropriate steps should be taken in this circumstance. Never administer as a pre-surgery therapy.

Overview
1) Clean the area thoroughly to remove any debris, crusted exudates, or foreign bodies. 2) Insert the tube tip beneath the lower lid. 3) Squeeze a little bit of ointment into the eye`s conjunctival sac. A thin layer covering the cornea should be applied 3 or 4 times daily.
